Boy rescued from water
Two hours later, around 7:25 p.m., Hopkinson said two men rescued a young boy from the water.
The two men sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Toronto Fire Services and Toronto paramedics were on scene to assist, police say.
1 brother dead, the other missing
While Toronto Fire was assisting with the rescue, Hopkinson said two other men were seen requiring assistance in the water nearby.
One man was located and taken to hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
The other man, the victim's brother, has not yet been located.

Hopkinson said the Toronto Police Marine Unit abandoned the search on Saturday night but continued it on Sunday morning.
"Now we have daylight, it will be much easier to search," he said.
"It will be better conditions under which to try to find this missing man."
