Pedestrian killed near Sheppard and Pharmacy

A pedestrian is dead following a traffic accident near Sheppard Avenue East and Abbotsfield Gate, near Pharmacy Avenue, in Scarborough. 

Toronto police say an elderly male was struck at about 6:10 p.m. on Sunday. He was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.
