Police ask for the public's help locating a silver Dodge minivan
A 76-year-old man is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene Monday morning in Mississauga.
Peel police were called to the intersection of Bloor Street and Mississauga Valley Boulevard just before 8 a.m.
The man was crossing the intersection on the crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle, according to Bancroft Wright, a media relations officer with Peel Regional Police. He suffered serious injuries and was taken by paramedics to a local hospital for treatment.
