Glass falls from Trump Tower after swing stage crashes into window
Toronto Fire says one worker sustained minor injuries
A stretch of Adelaide Street has re-opened after an industrial accident caused glass to fall from the Trump-branded hotel-condo tower Wednesday afternoon.
It happened shortly before 1 p.m. Const. Jenifferjit Sidhu told CBC Toronto a swing stage crashed into a window several storeys in the air.
Adelaide Street between University Avenue and Bay Street was closed for more than three hours.
The Ministry of Labour is taking over the investigation.
