Man sought in deadly stabbing turns himself in, charged with murder

A man who police sought in relation to a deadly stabbing in Noble Park Sunday turned himself in to police. Marcus Richard Lee, 21, has been charged with second-degree murder.

A man who police sought in relation to a deadly stabbing in Noble Park Sunday turned himself in to police.

Marcus Richard Lee, 21, has been charged with second-degree murder after 23-year-old Russell Sahadeo was stabbed in the stomach early Sunday morning at the park near Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue West.

Police say Sahadeo was with friends at the park when they were approached by two men and a fight broke out. Sahadeo was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but died there.

Lee is scheduled to appear in court next Friday via video conference.

Police are still seeking a second suspect in relation to the stabbing. Ton Quoc Hoang Ngo, 20, who is also known as Tommy Ngo, of Toronto, is wanted for second-degree murder. Police describe him as Asian, about 5'7" with a slim build, short black brush-cut hair. Police say if spotted, call 911. They say he should not be approached.
