Man, 24, shot near Weston Road and Finch Avenue

Toronto police are hunting for a suspect in a shooting that occurred in the Weston Road and Finch Avenue West area on Tuesday morning.

At 11 a.m., Toronto police responded to a report of a shooting.

Police say the 24-year-old victim was shot in front of a building.

He was conscious and breathing when found, police say.

Paramedics say the man suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was in serious condition at the time that he was being transported to a trauma centre.

Police are searching the area for a suspect, who is described as a black male who was wearing a black hat and black sweater.
