Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot in the head and left with life-threatening injuries.

Police say they received a call Monday at 7:06 p.m. regarding a shooting near Keele and Annette streets, which is just south of Dundas Street West.

The man suffered a single shot to the head before he was transported to hospital, paramedics told CBC News.

Police say they are still looking for a suspect. Keele Street has been closed from Dundas Street West to Annette Street in both directions as authorities investigate.
