Lamborghini, Porsche among haul of luxury vehicles impounded for alleged stunt driving on Highway 400
Twelve people charged and more charges possible, say Ontario Provincial Police

Ontario Provincial Police seized and impounded a haul of luxury vehicles driving "erratically" and "dangerously" on Highway 400 in Barrie on Sunday afternoon.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said police received several reports about a group of vehicles speeding on the highway, and blocked off the northbound lanes.

Officers funneled a dozen vehicles — which included a Lamborghini, a Porsche and a Rolls Royce — to the nearby ONroute service centre.
Twelve people were charged with stunt driving, Sgt. Kerry Schmidt told CBC News. The vehicles will be impounded for seven days and their drivers will have their licences suspended for seven days as well, he said.

"It doesn't matter what you're driving, you can still be taken off the road for stunt driving on any type of vehicle," Schmidt said.
"If you want to have that kind of driving experience, take it to the track."
Police are appealing to anyone who was driving on Highway 400 on Sunday afternoon with information or dashcam video to contact them.
