Hells Angels shop opens in Leslieville

The Hells Angels have opened up a retail store in Toronto’s east-end Leslieville neighbourhood.

The Hells Angels have opened up a retail store in Toronto’s east-end Leslieville neighbourhood.

The shop is selling merchandise, including coffee cups and T-shirts. The people running the store declined an interview with CBC News.

It is located on Carlaw Avenue, just a short distance away from the Hells Angels' former clubhouse on Eastern Avenue.

Coun. Paula Fletcher said the shop is, to her knowledge, not a clubhouse.

But Fletcher predicted that neighbours will be keeping a close eye on what is happening with the business.

The OPP's Biker Enforcement Unit told CBC News that anyone who chooses to buy merchandise from the shop will be supporting the Hells Angels.

They also suspect that it could be a new clubhouse.
