Glass falls from another Toronto building

Glass has fallen from a downtown Toronto high-rise condo, hitting two vehicles on the street below.

Police said no one was injured when the glass fell early Wednesday evening from the 25th floor at 126 Simcoe St., at Simcoe and Richmond Street West. A man was inside a limo that was struck, but the vehicles suffered only minor damage.

The recently built building is one of several in the city's core to have glass fall from its upper levels.

In late May, glass fell from the RBC Centre at Simcoe and Wellington streets.

In March, glass fell from the 16th floor of a building at 180 Queen St. West, as well as from the Trump Tower at Bay and Adelaide Streets.   

Last August, pieces of tempered glass fell from a 27th floor balcony onto John Street just north of King Street West, from the Festival Tower condominiums at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
