Firefighters knock down Scarborough industrial fire

Fire crews managed to knock down a fire at an industrial complex in Scarborough overnight.

Firefighters managed to knock down a fire at an industrial complex in Scarborough overnight. 

Crews were called to the scene at 345 Nantucket Boulevard, in the area of Kennedy and Ellesmere roads, around 4 a.m. ET.

A large machine inside the factory was on fire and employees were forced to evacuate. 

There was heavy smoke bellowing from the building as the fire spread from the machine to the roof. 

There were no injuries reported and fire officials said the blaze is not suspicious.
