Firefighters free girl, 3, after coat gets stuck in escalator
Toronto firefighters were able to free a three-year-old girl after her coat became stuck in an escalator at St. Clair West subway station on Monday afternoon.
The child was apparently sitting on the descending escalator when both her sleeves got caught on the step. Both sleeves were stuck at the bottom of the escalator, bringing it to a stop. Luckily her hands were not caught in the escalator.
She was taking her to Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids) as a precaution.
