The office of an Etobicoke signage company was gutted by a three-alarm fire early Tuesday.

Just after 4:30 a.m., Toronto Fire Services responded to the blaze at Avida Digital Signage at 72 Six Point Rd. The one-storey building is located in a light industrial area between Kipling and Islington Avenues.

As of 6 a.m. more than 80 firefighters were battling the blaze, which has caused the roof to collapse. Firefighters tell CBC News the building is likely a write off.

The fire was brought under control as of 7:30 a.m., though fire crews will likely be on site for the rest of the day, using aerial trucks to put out the remaining hot spots.

There is no word yet on what may have caused the fire.
