Fire investigators are trying to determine what started an early morning fire in a Brampton home.

The fire was first reported at 3:30 a.m. Monday morning in the Steeles Avenue and Kennedy Road South area of Brampton.

Firefighters believe the fire may have started in the garage and spread to the house.

Several pops or explosions were heard coming from the garage, which firefighters say may have been car tires exploding due to the heat.

No injuries were reported.
