Let's Hear It For the Grads!
The Greater Toronto Area Virtual Yearbook
University of Toronto's Chelsea Tanchip wasn't able to take her grad photo. She had booked her sit down photography session later in the spring, before the shelter in place mandate came into affect. With no studios available to take her picture, she took matters into her own hands.
After discovering a recent interest in digital illustration she created her own self portrait in what would have been her full graduation attire. Tanchip calls her portrait, "An artistic approach to a Bachelor of Science degree!".
Let's Hear It For the Grads
Greater Toronto area students, whole groups of friends, and their proud parents and supporters shared photos and memories of their time at school.
While the graduating class of 2020 had to celebrate this milestone unlike any graduating class before them, they were celebrated in many creative ways, whether that be socially distanced celebrations, virtual proms or drive through ceremonies.
