Explosion blows out windows at Colombia Mia restaurant in Mississauga

One man was taken to hospital after an explosion inside the Colombia Mia restaurant in Mississauga early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to an explosion at a restaurant in Mississauga this morning. 

The blast happened at around 6 a.m. inside the Colombia Mia Family Restaurant located  at 3038 Hurontario St., just north of Dundas Street. The explosion blew out the eatery's windows onto the sidewalk. 

An injured man was taken to hospital by Peel Paramedics. Details about his injuries are not known.

A fire investigator has been sent to the scene.
