Police identify victim of fatal stabbing in Brampton as 45-year-old Edmondo Samuel
Police identified Edmondo Samuel, 45, as the victim of a fatal stabbing in Brampton that happened Thursday evening.
Police confirmed that the victim and the accused knew each other but would not elaborate on their relationship

Peel Regional Police have identified the victim in a fatal stabbing in Brampton Thursday evening as 45-year-old Edmondo Samuel, 45.
Police were called Thursday around 8:30 p.m. to a residence in the Hansen Road North and Charters Road area near Kennedy Road North and Williams Parkway.
Officers arrived to find Samuel suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
A 19-year-old man was arrested soon after, and charged with second-degree murder Friday morning.
Police confirmed that the victim and the accused knew each other, and that the incident poses no risk to public safety.
