Bradford man faces 1st-degree murder charge after wife found dead

A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 51-year-old woman in Bradford, Ont.

The South Simcoe Police Service says they were called to a residence in the community on Saturday morning.

They found the body of a woman inside, though police aren't providing the cause of death at this time.

Police say the suspect is the woman's husband, but investigators aren't releasing the names of either the suspect or the dead woman.

Police say the suspect will appear in court on Sunday facing a first-degree murder charge.
