A Thornhill high school was briefly evacuated Monday morning after a bomb threat was made, police say.

York Regional Police were called to Westmount Collegiate Institute, near Bathurst Street and New Westminster Drive, around 9:17 a.m. after the threat was made.

Nobody has been injured and students began returning to the school around noon, police confirmed.

Authorities have not revealed any further details about how the threat was made.
