Thunder Bay man charged with sexual assault

An investigation into reported sexual assaults dating as far back as 16 years has led to the arrest of a 51-year-old Thunder Bay man.

Gary Bruce Lamont faces eight charges including forcible confinement, sexual assault and uttering threats of bodily harm.

The incidents allegedly occurred in Thunder Bay and at Warnica Lake in Jacques Township over a 10-year period.

OPP report the complainants are males who were 17 to 24 years old at the time of the alleged assaults

Lamont has been remanded into custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on Dec. 23.
