'Poor weather' prompts cancellation of final Movie Nights at the Waterfront

Officials from the City of Thunder Bay, Ont., have cancelled the last Movie Nights at the Waterfront on Friday due to "poor weather and unfavourable ground conditions."

Officials from the City of Thunder Bay, Ont., have cancelled the last Movie Nights at the Waterfront on Friday due to "poor weather and unfavourable ground conditions."

A Facebook post from the Thunder Bay Culture & Events said Friday's movie screening is cancelled.

Residents are however invited to gather at Marina Park on Saturday evening, at around 9 p.m. for the screening of Sherlock Gnomes.

Everyone is invited to the park for the free event.

Movie-goers are reminded to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the movie on the big screen and food vendors will be on site with snacks and food.
