CBC News has learned hundreds of employees at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre had their personal information published online by their workplace.

At the end of March, 245 employees had personal information published on the hospital's website, including their names, and other personal identifying information. The information was online for about a week and a half.

The hospital discovered the internal error in early April, and took down the identifying information.

Employees were notified earlier this week, after hospital administration had the situation under control, they said.

Impacted employees have been notified, and offered credit monitoring.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre did not offer any details on any type of internal investigation taking place, because of the privacy breach.
