This year's Wordstock in Sudbury is a homecoming for featured author Lauren Carter

Dozens of authors and storytellers from across the country will be in Sudbury later this week for Wordstock. It's the literary festival's sixth edition, featuring readings, discussions, workshops, and more. It runs from Friday to Sunday at the Holiday Inn in the south and of Sudbury. Wordstock marks a return to northern Ontario for one featured author on the bill. Lauren Carter is originally from Blind River, and now lives in St. Andrews, Manitoba. Her latest novel, This Has Nothing To Do With You, is set in northern Ontario. Up North host Waubgeshig Rice spoke with her.
