Thunder Bay police have identified the victim of a reported homicide at a residence on Marks Street.

Edmond Clovis, 21, from Toronto was killed on May 22, police said in a written release on Monday, adding that the man's family has been notified.

Police said that they're still receiving information from the public. On Friday, police said they believe the homicide was "targeted" and "gang-related."

Police were called to a home on Marks Street on May 22 around 4:50 p.m. with reports of a seriously-injured male. He was later pronounced dead in hospital, and a post-mortem examination has revealed he died as a result of "trauma received in an altercation."

Police said they are still looking for information about a suspect vehicle described as a black or dark-charcoal Mazda CX 5 that was reportedly fleeing the scene.
