Temiskaming OPP are renewing a call for the public's help in finding a woman who was reported missing about six years ago.

Police say Shelley May Anderson was last seen on Sept. 19, 2009. The 51-year-old woman was last seen in the town of Cobalt boarding a Tri Town Transit bus on her way to New Liskeard.

Anderson has not been seen since then, although the OPP says there have been unconfirmed sightings reported in the City of Timmins in 2010 and another possible sighting was also investigated in July of 2014 at the Klondike Days Colliseum in Edmonton, Alberta.

Anderson is described as:

  • About 5'10", husky build

  • Long dark hair (pony tail or down)

  • Regularly wore a cowboy hat and blue jeans

  • Ties to the Timmins and Schumacher area, since she lived there most of her life

  • May be using aliases such as Brenda May Anderson, Shelley May Becker, "Becky", Shelley Becker and Brenda Becker.

Anyone with any information pertaining to this case is urged to call the Temiskaming OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
