Noelville's Jeffery Pockele dies in snowmobile crash

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for today on the body of a 40-year-old Noelville man who died in a snowmachine crash on Friday.

Provincial police say Jeffery Pockele was driving a snow machine on an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail off of Prevost Road in Noelville when he lost control and was thrown from the machine.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash. 

The investigation into the crash continues.
