As Sudbury moves ahead with plans to build an events centre in the city, a few groups are sharing ideas for the proposed venue.

Proposed Kingsway and downtown locations have popular — and financial — support

As Sudbury moves ahead with plans to build an events centre in the city, a few groups are sharing ideas for the proposed venue.

But while city hall may be months away from deciding its preferred location, proponents for the projects are digging in.

Each location — at the south end, downtown or on the Kingsway — has its proponents and detractors.

On Morning North, Andrew Dale and Shawn Ouiment, two high-profile project leaders, debated the merits of their preferred sites.
