Pedestrian dies of injuries after collision on Kingsway
The Kingsway was reopened to traffic just before noon
A male pedestrian has died of injuries he sustained on the Kingsway, near Third Avenue in Sudbury.
Sudbury Police, paramedics and fire services were called to the collision around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
Police had said the pedestrian sustained 'extensive injuries'. He died on scene of those injuries.
The eastbound lanes of the Kingsway were re-opened as of noon.
The were closed earlier heading toward Coniston.
The Traffic Unit continues to investigate.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
