Search for body of Michel Trudeau postponed
The search for the body of Michel Trudeau has been postponed again because of heavy snow in the Rockies.
The youngest son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and his ex-wife Margaret Kemper died last November when an avalanche swept him into the freezing waters of Kokanee Lake, about 260 kilometres southwest of Calgary.
Searchers were forced to give up their initial search last November and hoped to resume their search in June.
But unseasonably cool weather forced the search to be postponed again.
The RCMP says there is still as much as one-and-a-half metres of snow on the surface of the lake.
