Thousands of people jammed City Park in Saskatoon Sunday night to get a glimpse at the colourful Canadian Pacific Holiday Train as it stopped in the city at the Seventh Street N. overpass.

City council member Darren Hill tweeted that he and the mayor estimated the crowd at 10,000.

The train was delayed for about 50 minutes.

But it finally arrived.

And people brought their donations.
