A half-naked man jumping from rooftop to rooftop on the 500 block of Avenue H South kept police and paramedics busy this morning.

The first reports came in around 8 a.m. CST of a man with no pants screaming from the rooftop of a fourplex. By the time police arrived, the man had stripped down to his underwear and was unsteadily pacing along the ridge of the home.

He alternated between sitting and screaming, pacing and screaming and then jumping from house to house, screaming.

Police kept talking to the man from the ground.

The incident ended peacefully when the man decided he wanted a drink of water. He jumped back to the rooftop where his clothes lay scattered, got dressed, climbed down and was arrested.

He was taken away by ambulance.
