Saskatoon named to two must-see lists for 2016

Two year-end lists pick Saskatoon as a place to visit this year

There's the South Saskatchewan River, of course.

A thriving arts and music scene.

A multi-million-dollar art gallery opening in the next year.

And restaurants, restaurants, restaurants.

These are just some of reasons Saskatoon is pegged as a must-see destination for tourists this year.

Westjet Magazine chose it as part of an international list of 20 places to visit. The city joins Oahu, Manhattan, Los Cabos and Islay as a place to visit. also chose it as a place to see. The travel website selected 20 of its favourite cities across Canada.
