Three violent attacks in Saskatoon last night in two separate incidents have left two men and one woman in the hospital.

Police were called to 21st Street E. and 2nd Avenue S. at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday to reports of three men there were fighting — armed with metal pipes.

When they arrived, they found a 31-year-old man badly hurt, though police said he's now in stable condition.

About an hour later, police were called to another location nearby, on the 100 block of 2nd Avenue S., after a man was hit with a machete.

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital and is expected to recover.

Police said these two attacks are related but don't know if the men who were hurt know the suspects.

In another incident, a woman is in hospital after being stabbed twice.

Police were called to Avenue V South just before 9 p.m. Thursday night where they found a 29-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.

She did not know the attacker, who is described as being a boy about 13 to 15 years old wearing all black.

Anyone with information about either of these cases is asked to call Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers.
