While Saskatchewan Party leader Brad Wall and NDP leader Cam Broten battled it out in front of TV cameras in a debate, people at home weighed in on Twitter.

Many enjoyed the debate.

Others, not so much.

Plenty of people thought Wall was the clear winner.

While others thought Broten came out on top.

However, some thought both leaders' performances were poor.

Comparing it to debates in the U.S., this person thought both candidates were on their best behaviour.

Many people criticised the job of the moderator, Costa Maragos.

But not everyone.

Maragos faced his critics.

People also criticised the format of the debate.
