Man's body pulled from river in Prince Albert, Sask.

At around 9 a.m. CST police responded to a call about someone in the river. Officers found a deceased man in the west area of the river near the south bank a short distance from shore.

Prince Albert police found a man dead in the North Saskatchewan River Sunday morning. 

At around 9 a.m. CST police responded to a call about someone in the river. Officers found the man's body in the west area of the river near the south bank, a short distance from shore. 

With the help of the local fire department, the body was recovered and the coroner's office and police continue to piece together what led to the man's death.

An autopsy has been ordered.
