Bus riders in Saskatoon now have a new tool to help them navigate the transit system.

A newly-launched website, saskatoontransit.ca allows improved trip planning tools, and will be mobile friendly.

The website also allows uses to track buses in real time, finding out exactly where in the city the bus is, and whether it's on schedule or not.

"Having access to real-time information has the potential to transform the ridership experience," said Colleen McKee, Communications and Marketing Manager for Transportation and Utilities in a release.

Saskatoon Transit will also have a dedicated twitter account, @saskatoontransit, monitored by the same customer service team that responds to telephone inquiries.
