 The home of the Saskatoon Blades is getting a new name.

Credit Union Centre is becoming the SaskTel Centre in October. The Crown corporation is paying $3.5 million over the next decade for the naming rights to the city's largest venue.

City council approved the change at its meeting Thursday.
