- 'It's not safe enough': Construction halted indefinitely after worker killed at Children's Hospital of Sask.
Police were called to the area around 3:30 p.m. CST following the incident.
'His career was just taking off'
Just a few hours before Paula Collins had been messaging Ndayishimiye about a possible project.
Collins owns MASALA Models & Talent and was representing Ndayishimiye, who had just been to an audition last weekend at the agency for a national commercial.
"His career was just taking off," a statement on the agency's Facebook page read. "So talented. A sweet, sweet young man whose life was cut short."
"Outgoing. Always smiling. Always energetic. On time. Positive," Collins said as she described her memories of Ndayishimiye.
Graham Construction, which was in charge of the safety of those at the site, said Friday that Ndayishimiye had been hired within the past six months.
Construction at the site has been halted indefinitely while the investigation continues.
