Acreage fire north of Saskatoon does $200,000 damage
A fire broke out on an acreage this morning just north of Saskatoon that engulfed a guest house and double garage.

A fire broke out on an acreage this morning just north of Saskatoon that engulfed a guest house and garage.
Dwight Nelson owns the acreage,
"I was driving the kids to school and a buddy in the house phoned me and said the guest house was on fire," he said.
At about 9:30 a.m. CST, firefighters were called to the property. Heavy smoke could be seen for several kilometres.
Crews responded from Saskatoon, Martensville and Warman. It took just under an hour to get the fire under control. There were no injuries, and there's no estimate on damages.
