Underwear-clad runner arrested at Rider game

A Saskatoon man has been charged after running onto the field in his underwear during Saturday's Roughriders game in Regina.

A Saskatoon man has been charged after allegedly running onto the field in his underwear during Saturday's Roughriders game in Regina.

According to the Regina Police Service, a partially-clothed man pushed a volunteer to the ground and ran onto the turf.

Security staff caught up with the man under the north end temporary stands and held him for the police.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with assault and mischief. He's scheduled to make his first court appearance on Nov. 27.

The Riders lost the game 31-26.
