Teen charged with murder following fire

RCMP have charged a teenager with murder in the case of a 73-year-old man found dead in a house fire in northern Saskatchewan.

The body of James Durocher was found Thursday in the fire at Canoe Narrows.

The coroner was called in and an autopsy was scheduled.

Police said Monday they have determined that foul play caused Durocher's death.

A 17-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder. He's being held in custody and will appear in court in Patuanak on Tuesday morning. 

No details have been released about how Durocher was killed.

Canoe Narrows is located about 330 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
