Scraggly-haired man exposing himself in Saskatoon
Police in Saskatoon are trying to track down a suspect with a frizzy hairstyle who they believe has exposed himself to 14 women, from teenagers to seniors.
Police said the incidents took place on the city's east side and were first reported in June, with the most recent case on Wednesday.
"In each incident the victim is approached by a male who at times engages them in conversation, making eye contact and smiling," police said in a news release issued Friday. "He then exposes himself to the victim."
Police said that in some cases the suspect also "performed an indecent act" before leaving, sometimes on foot and other times on a bicycle.
They said several incidents took place in back alleys.
"The victims have all been female ranging in age from 14 to senior citizens," police said, adding that "no one has been physically harmed during the incidents."
The man was described as Caucasian with a light complexion, 20-30 years of age. He is between 5'6" and 6' tall, with a slim build.
He has shoulder length blonde or light brown hair.
"The suspect has distinctive hair described as being in dreadlocks, or appearing scraggly or frizzy as if it had recently been in dreadlocks," police added.
Police said anyone who can help with the investigation can call them at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
