Ryan Watson

In 2000, Watson received a Diploma in Heritage and Traditional Masonry and Restoration from Ontario. After graduation he formed a masonry business specializing in hand carved stone detail.
In 2010, Ryan was awarded a Heritage Award from the City of Saskatoon for his hand carved stone restoration work on the King George Hotel. Today, Watson continues to run a successful masonry business, Rocco Masons. His hand-carved stone work adorns buildings and homes throughout Saskatoon through to Chicago.
Watson continues to keep history alive in Saskatoon by playing a creative role in designing the facades on homes and buildings; inside and out, using the most modern tools to promote the oldest trade. Along with running a 10 man crew, Watson is an active member of Saskatoon's Progress Club supporting several inner city school initiatives.
