The Regina Leader-Post building is being sold and the newspaper is moving to a new location.

Employees were informed in an email last week that the corporate owner of the daily newspaper, Postmedia Network Canada Corporation, was putting the building at 1964 Park St. up for sale.

"We are listing our Regina property for sale," Postmedia vice-president of communications Phyllise Gelfand told CBC News in an email.

"It's early in the process so there are no details available yet as to the timing or location of a potential move."

Earlier this year, the newspaper closed its printing press at the Park Street location. The newspaper is now printed in Saskatoon and trucked to Regina every morning.
