Regina girl, 13, charged over Dollarama fire
A 13-year-old Regina girl has been charged with arson following a fire at a Dollarama store on June 12.
A 13-year-old Regina girl has been charged with arson following a fire at a Dollarama store on June 12.
The fire at the Cornwall Centre store in the city's downtown led to the evacuation of the store and caused about $1,000 damage.
It's alleged the girl, who can't be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, went up several aisles trying to set merchandise ablaze.
No one was hurt.
She was scheduled to appear in Youth Court Thursday afternoon.
