Regina firefighters extinguish townhouse fire on west side

Regina firefighters were called to a townhouse fire in Harbour Landing early this morning — the latest in a series of recent building fires in the city.

No one hurt as blaze hits 5600 block of Aerodrome Rd.

Regina firefighters were called to a townhouse fire in Harbour Landing early this morning — the latest in a series of recent building fires in the city.

The fire department reported it got the call to the 5600 block of Aerodrome Rd., in the west side neighbourhood, about five minutes after midnight.

The Regina Fire Department says there were no injuries in the fire, and the townhouse was vacant at the time. (Filipe Costa)

The building was vacant and there were no injuries. There's no estimate on damages yet.

Investigators are looking into the cause.
