Regina police investigate body found in Normanview area

Members of the Regina police department and the coroner's office were on scene in the city's Normanview area Thursday to investigate the death of a man whose body was found just before the noon hour.

Call came in Thursday morning about body found on 300 block of McIntosh St.

Members of the Regina police department and the coroner's office were on scene in the city's Normanview area Thursday to investigate the death of a man whose body was found just before the noon hour.

A caller notified police at 11:44 a.m. CST after spotting a motionless man on the ground in the north Regina area. 

The body was found in the alley between McIntosh and Royal streets.

Police arrived, confirmed the man was dead and called the coroner's office.

Police haven't said yet whether or not the death is considered suspicious. Their investigation continues.

No details were provided about the name or age of the man or the cause of death.
