Motorists using the Trans-Canada Highway east of Regina can expect some delays, especially around rush hour, as paving crews will be filling cracks on the eastbound lanes of the road for the next few days.

The crack-sealing work will be done on a stretch of Highway 1 from Tower Road to White City. Work is set to begin Tuesday and run through to Friday, depending on the weather.

There will be signs advising motorists to slow down.

Ministry of Highways officials noted there may be significant delays and drivers may want to consider alternate routes.
