CBC's Political Panel talks MLA pay cuts and bonuses
The Opposition NDP is questioning why Premier Brad Wall has given the OK to $3,000 bonuses to MLAs who service as Legislative Secretaries after MLAs agreed to take a 3.5 per cent pay cut.
$3K bonuses have drawn criticism from Opposition NDP MLA Carla Beck

CBC's Political Panel looks back on the week's biggest Saskatchewan political stories with a discussion about Premier Brad Wall's decision to start paying legislative secretaries $3,000 bonuses.
The bonuses were quietly added during last summer's cabinet shuffle.
They came just a few months after the government tabled a deficit budget and not long before MLAs agreed to take a 3.5 per cent pay cut.
The move has drawn criticism from Opposition MLA Carla Beck.
CBC's Legislative reporter Stefani Langenegger and Regina Leader-Post columnist Murray Mandryk discuss how the bonuses look at a time of provincial austerity.
