Man pleads guilty to manslaughter in P.A. death
Originally charged with first-degree murder
A 24-year-old man has pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter in the death of Dakota Nayneecassum who died in Prince Albert in September of 2012.
Kyle Alexander Goodrich was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Because of pre-trial custody, Goodrich will serve 10 year and eight months as a federal inmate.
Goodrich also pleaded guilty to a break and enter charge.
Nayneecassum, 18, was injured in a home in Prince Albert and was taken to hospital where he died.
There are four others, also charged in the case, who are still before the courts.
